Congratulations on growing your own wheatgrass!  It's all pretty simple to do.  There are step by step instructions HERE or you can purchase my How to grow wheatgrass DVD HERE   You may be interested in the small or the large planting trays, pending on how much wheatgrass juice that you will want each day.  For example, if you want 2 ounces per day, then one large tray (or two small trays) will give you enough for at least 10 days.  Each large tray, 17"x17", will yeild approx 2 pounds of wheatgrass.  Each pound of wheatgrass will juice (when using a single auger juicer) between 10-13 ounces.  You soak (8-12 hrs), sprout (16-24 hrs) and then plant 1 pound (2 cups) of the wheat seed per large tray.  The small trays, 10"x10", will yeild close to one pound of wheatgrass per tray.  You would soak, sprout and plant ½ pound (1 cup) of wheat seed per small tray.  Click HERE to order the small or large trays.  Click HERE to order seeds.  Remember, all seed is not created equal.  Just because it is a hard wheat seed, organic with a good germination rate, means NOTHING on how it will grow.  You can't just look at a seed and be able to know if it will grow good wheatgrass.  I wish it were that easy.  Laughing

*Note:  Always purchase double the amount of planting trays that you will need.  You can use them to cover the seed for the first few days as well as grow other greens in them such as Sunflower and Pea greens.

To get started, you will need some seeds, some basic potting soil and some kind of a tray.  You can use a flower pot, the bottom clay part of a flower pot, a cup, a glass or anything that will hold some soil in it and has some drainage holes so you don't over water.

Soak your seeds overnight, 8-12 hours, under water.  After they have soaked, drain the water off the seed and rinse them clean.  If you need something simple to use for soaking and sprouting, I suggest the pitcher-in-pitcher method.  One pitcher would have holes in it and the other is solid.  Place the pitche with holes inside of the pitcher without holes and then put the seed into the pitcher with the holes, add water.  Drinking water is great, otherwise any water would work fine.  The only wouldn't I may not choose to use is distilled.  Click HERE to order the pitchers if you are not sure how to make them.  There is a photo there as well.

*Note:  The soak water can be used to water all kinds of household plants, or it can be used in your garden, trees, flowers, etc...  But please don't drink it.
